On Wednesday, June 25, United Veterans Beacon House hosted its annual Independence BBQ in celebration of the veterans we proudly serve. This special event brought together more than 75 people, including our veteran clients, elected officials, donors, staff, and board members. It was a day filled with good food, great company, and heartfelt camaraderie.
Although the weather was hot, the energy was high and the sense of community was even stronger. The afternoon began with a warm welcome from board member Phil Boyle and continued with a delicious meal generously prepared by Chubbs Butcher.
We are especially grateful to DiCarlo Foods for donating all of the beverages and to Senator Alexis Weik for her generous contribution in support of the event. Thanks to our partners, sponsors, and volunteers, the day was a meaningful reminder of the power of community and our shared commitment to honoring those who have served.
