On June 28th, more than 100 people gathered at the United Veterans Beacon House for their Annual Independence Day BBQ in celebration of the veterans we serve. Beacon House supporters were on hand to share in the festivities, including local elected officials, board members, donors, and staff members.

Adam Wood, Chairman of the Board, kicked off the BBQ by welcoming our guests and thanking our veterans for their service and sacrifice. We were honored to have our community partners, National Grid, Stop and Shop, and TriTec, behind the buffet, helping serve more than 75 veteran residents.

Veterans and guests enjoyed the food and festivities. It was a fantastic day for all in attendance.
