On May 19, we welcomed a vibrant group of golfers—friends old and new—for a day of camaraderie, competition, and connection at the beautiful Mill River Club. From the first swing to the final toast, the energy never let up.
A huge thank you to our Platinum Sponsor Webster Bank and Board Member Ed
Blaskey, whose leadership continues to anchor this event—now in their fourth year as presenting sponsor.
We also proudly recognize Hunt Enterprises, Malpigli & Associates, and the Ace in the Hole Foundation—key partners helping us go further for those who’ve served.
With our Board Members, leadership team, and dedicated volunteers on hand, the day ran with heart and purpose. Guests enjoyed a full experience: brunch, 18 holes on a championship course, and cocktails, dinner, raffles, and auction on the patio as the sun set.
Winners were crowned for overall team performance, longest drive, and closest to the pin—but Beat the Chairman may have stolen the show. Our own Adam Wood bravely took on golfers vying for one of six prize bundles (yes, there were scratch-offs—and yes, the rivalry was real).
But beyond the trophies and laughter, every moment supported our core mission: providing housing and supportive services for homeless and at-risk veterans across Long Island.
Thank you to everyone who showed up, stepped up, and stood behind those who’ve served.
See you next year.
Special thank you, Jennifer Mercurio of Lasting Impressions, for capturing the spirit of the day perfectly—every smile, swing, and shared moment that made this event.
